Bio
Danya is a visual anthropologist born in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico trained at FLACSO Ecuador, with a focus on multimodal ethnography, visual storytelling, and collaborative projects with indigenous communities. Currently based in Montreal, her work explores the intersections of lived experience, environment, and creative research.
